Assalamu Alaikum,
My name is Mohammad Ali Saatchi, and I am the founder of Quran Gate.
Like many people today, I found myself spending more and more time on social media. Every free moment became an opportunity to scroll—whether waiting in line, taking a break, or sitting quietly at home. While technology has connected us in incredible ways, I often felt that much of my screen time left me distracted rather than fulfilled.
One day, I asked myself a simple question:
What if even a small portion of the time we spend scrolling could be spent with the Quran instead?
That question became the beginning of Quran Gate.
Why Quran Gate Exists
The Quran is a source of guidance, wisdom, peace, and reflection. Yet for many of us, opening the Quran regularly can be difficult amid the noise and distractions of modern life.
I wanted to create something that makes returning to the Quran as easy and natural as opening any app on your phone.
Not an app filled with distractions.
Not an app designed to maximize screen time.
But an app designed to help you build a meaningful relationship with the words of Allah.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple:
To help Muslims replace mindless scrolling with meaningful moments of Quranic reflection.
Whether you have one minute or one hour, Quran Gate aims to make the Quran accessible wherever you are and whenever you need it.
Built With Intention
Every decision behind Quran Gate is guided by a few core principles:
- Simplicity over complexity
- Reflection over distraction
- Spiritual growth over engagement metrics
- User experience that respects your time and attention
That's also why Quran Gate will never be built around intrusive advertising or endless notifications designed to keep you hooked.
We believe technology should serve your faith—not compete with it.
A Personal Journey
Quran Gate began as a personal project born from a simple desire: to spend more time with the Quran and less time consuming content that offered little lasting value.
What started as an idea soon became a mission to help others do the same.
If Quran Gate helps even one person develop a stronger connection with the Quran, then every hour spent building it has been worthwhile.
Thank You
Thank you for being part of this journey.
May Allah make Quran Gate a means of guidance, reflection, and benefit for everyone who uses it.
