Quran Gate (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Quran Gate is designed as a focus and habit-support tool that helps users reduce distractions and build a Quran reading habit. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

  • the Quran Gate mobile app;
  • our website or landing pages;
  • customer support communications;
  • subscription and billing flows handled through platform providers and service providers.

It does not apply to third-party services, websites, or apps that are not controlled by us, even if they are linked from our Services.

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, and support Quran Gate.

A. Information You Provide to Us

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, such as:

  • the contents of messages you send us;

B. Subscription and Transaction Information

If you purchase Quran Gate Pro or another paid feature, purchases are processed through Apple and may be managed through third-party subscription infrastructure such as RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

We may receive limited subscription-related information such as:

  • subscription status;
  • product identifier;
  • purchase or renewal events;
  • entitlement status;
  • anonymized or pseudonymous identifiers needed to validate access.

C. Usage and Analytics Information

We use Firebase and related analytics or crash-reporting tools to understand app performance and product usage. Depending on how the app is configured, this may include:

  • device and app instance identifiers;
  • app version;
  • operating system version;
  • country or broad region derived from IP or device settings;
  • language settings;
  • session activity;
  • feature interactions;
  • crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data;
  • approximate timestamps for usage events.

We do not need an account to provide the current version of Quran Gate.

D. Focus, Reading, and App Restriction Data

To provide Quran Gate's core functionality, the app may process information related to:

  • selected focus or restriction settings;
  • Quran reading session progress inside the app;
  • whether a required reading session was completed before a user-selected unlock action.

We aim to keep this information as limited as possible.

E. Device and Technical Information

We may automatically collect technical information needed for operation, security, and debugging, including:

  • device type and model;
  • OS type and version;
  • app build/version;
  • timezone;
  • coarse diagnostic data;
  • push token, if notifications are enabled.

4. Information We Do Not Intend to Collect

We do not intentionally collect:

  • account passwords, because there is currently no account system;
  • full payment card information;
  • precise GPS location;
  • personal messages, photos, or contacts unless you directly send them to support;
  • special-category personal data unless you choose to provide it to us.

Quran Gate includes religious content, but we do not use the app to infer or profile your religious beliefs beyond what is inherent in your voluntary use of the app itself.

  • to provide and maintain Quran Gate;
  • to enable app features, including focus and unlock-related functionality;
  • to verify subscription access and paid entitlements;

These permissions are used to provide app functionality chosen by the user. Denying some permissions may reduce or disable specific features.

Quran Gate is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without a lawful basis.
